Moonlight ablaze

Winds swept through
Shaking the sleep from camp
A fresh water stream flowed peacefully in the night
Wandering quietly by, as the wind echoed
Petals fell at the feet of the campers
Dreams roamed, as petals fell
Like lovers, walking in the moonlight

Moonlight ablaze, so white
Through the purple night
Peacefully in the night
As the stream wound
Like a coil around the hill
The chill of the night

With hearts that are lost
We have showered our loves
Upon a dry dusty trail
Of faith we have trusted
Following a stream
Which flows and travels
Like a coil, sometimes crying out to be saved
Moonlight ablaze, so white
Through the purple night
Petals fell at the feet of the campers
Dreams roamed, as petals fell
Like lovers, walking in the moonlight
Perfume lingers in the night
The leaves upon her falling light
Lingers in the night, to drink of pleasant perfumes

Here the blooms rise, as the love shines
Faint winds glide over the woods
While the moon is still high
A fresh water stream flowed peacefully in the night
Like a coil, sometimes crying out to be saved
All night at the feet of the campers
Of the cold moonlight night.
