Wading through life

In my journey, I have felt like swaggie

A journey along a long and winding road
A swaggie growing weary and weak
Days on end spent wandering the road
His swag heavy, with a lifetime of journeys
No-one, yet a lone walker may join him
Roads hot, with sun bearing down
A sunset on the road is burning
With a sky hostile, he tries to settle by a lone tree
Before the day exhaust him
And no energy for a night under the stars

In our world we are swaggies, no-matter what
Wading through creeks, dusty hot deserted roads
Often dazed, with burning sun, on an unknown road
Our paths cross with others rugged and torn
From days on the road, Yet with victory
There can be defeat, our burden weighs us down
Yet in all journeys we move on to the next tree
And settle under the stars
But in the day we wade through life, no-matter what
