What a joy it is

Hebrews 6:18 that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to take hold of the hope set before us.

Acts 2:42 They continued steadfastly in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and prayer.

1 Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord

2 Corinthians 6:14 Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?

Ephesians 5:11 Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them.

Fellowship in the Lord’s presence
What a Joy it is, to fellowship in the Lord’s presence
Leaning, leaning on the shoulders of the Lord
Gaining wisdom in the Lord’s presence
What a blessing it is
Peace in God’s grace
Leaning, leaning on the shoulders of the Lord
Gaining wisdom in the Lord’s presence

Learning, leaning, God’s wisdom
Safe, with God’s arms surrounding me
Far from all the fears
Learning, leaning, God’s wisdom
Leaning, leaning on the shoulders of the Lord

Oh! the walk with God, shines the world before you
Leaning on the shoulders of God
Oh! how the walk with God shines the way
Each new day
All the fears are gone, nothing left to fear
Leaning on the shoulders of God
Peace shared with the Lord is so near
Leaning on the shoulders of God
Fellowship in the Lord’s presence
What a Joy it is, to fellowship in the Lord’s presence

  1. Thank you Bj, some very uplifting thoughts in your verse and yes fellowshiping in the Lord’s presence is indeed Joy and when we ask we receive but only when it is according to His best will for us .

We need to remember that God does not withhold His answers to increase our patience or any other Fruit of The Spirit but He does empower us to walk in Them through The Spirit when we choose to and in so doing our Carnal flesh weakens and dies, good and evil cannot co-exist, when we come close to God Satan flees.

    Christian Love Always – Anne.
