I would like to share this quote

This morning as I read my emails an other messages, I came across a very important message to us all. The ideals behind the message are very important to me. Now as I grow as a person and become equal in stature climbing the many mountains that were set before me. This quote covers many walks of life, many may have read it before I don’t know, or even go to the page.

“For to be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.”

This equality statement is important to me

“Take time to listen to someone, with a different point of view. No talking allowed.”

  1. To some degree I believe in this Barb but it still depends on what their freedom is based on, if it’s in conflict with God’s guidelines for us, than No I will do what He asks us to do, which is stand up for His Truth regardless of the consequences to me personally, we are not to water down His Truth so itching ears will accept it. But yes we let others share their views but with a correction if needed and if offensive we walk away, we do not have to accept abuse, ungodly propaganda and coarse language, if we do it pollutes us too.

Some believe their freedom includes sinning and they condone it by saying they are only human and yes in the Carnal flesh we are but not when we are indwelt by Jesus through the empowering of The Holy Spirit.

Others believe it is their freedom to Abort their Child, robbing it of life, some Christians Separate and Divorce instead of resolving their differences which God tells us we are not to do. Some also hold onto bitterness and resentment instead of forgiving others and some slander those who don’t agree with the wrong they do and say ignoring their correction too. Some believe even in the Church that it’s their freedom and right to be Homosexual, God tells them it’s not, it is evil and hurts others.

So yes Barb by our own actions and words, we show that others are people of worth, Jesus died for everyone in the World but we also don’t accept evil as OK.

Christian Love in Christ Jesus – Anne
